They say that the iPod integration requires no cd changer or Sirius radio those must be removed. Also they can put it on any 3,5,6,7 series from model 2002+ .

I think Jad is referring to the old iPod intergration. BMW very recently announced that a new one is in the works that allows full intergration (ie full control over playlists, etc). The updated the www.ipodyourbmw.com site with an announcement that this new integration is coming soon. I couldn't find specific reference to M5s and M6s but other sites are saying that they're included.

This is what I've been waiting for for a long time. Does anyone know if I can add this to an M6 order scheduled for production next week or is it too late (or too early for that matter).

Here's the direct link to the press release. http://www.bmwusa.com/bmwexperience/...tm?article=268

M5 and M6 are mentioned here. Actually, they say ALL BMWs are going to be compatible. Woohoo!

Also, looks like a retrofit.

The press release states sometime in July 2006. Nothing more specific. Anyone heard any rumors? =)
