What do you guys think? I've got a black/black/carbon in production as of last Friday, due to be completed on 4/4. I tried to change the interior color today to no avail. My dealership can swap my car for one that goes into production in 2 weeks... .should I wait?

Sounds as though your're really lucky to have the option, and in just 2 weeks. If it were me, I'd wait to get exactly what I want, especially if you've been waiting as long as most have.

Your other post mentioned white/red. Are you still considering it or is it definitely black/red? White is awesome on the M6 imho, especially for warm climates, and it's lower maintenance too.

Gustav posted pics of white here (though you've probably seen them):
Report from Geneva, a lot of pics (Updated 13th March with 911 GT3 & Turbo pics/info)

What does your gut tell you? Best of luck deciding.

I'd wait too. I think Black with Full Red Leather Would be a Killer combo on this car. Add some wheels with black spokes and silver lip and you would have people lined up for a closer look.

Does the dealer have someone already for the one you don't want?

Normally, I follow the Johnny Cash model - the more black the better. But my sooner or later to arrive M6 is Indy Red on the outside because my last three BMW's (and pickup truck) have been black and I need a change.

Anyway, if it's only going to be a two week wait to get the interior you want, I think it's worth the wait.
