41,000 miles ISD was 4/1/2009...so about 12k per year....i was specifically looking for 2009+ because of the new iDrive and i also heard something about an updated program for the SMG (not sure if that's true)

Thanks a lot! Powder coating them any of those colors would look great, especially cause the stock OEM rims look great and it saves a lot of money

Hi everyone,
I am total newbie in the BMW world. I recently sold a 2004 WRX STi and I am now a proud owner of an M6. I test drove three M6's, all SMG's, just couldn't get past the lack of clutch and traditional shifting. So after endless searching I found the dream car, it was delivered just two weeks ago.

Here are the details:
2010 M6 Coupe
Interlagos blue
Silver stone interior
Manual transmission.
8k miles

Welcome aboard. The thing about SMG is that it takes a while to get used to it and "tune" yourself to it for best effect. Test drives usually don't offer enough time and miles to do that.

So the good news is that you found and purchased a 6 speed. Congratulations, you have what is a somewhat rare beast. Maybe 10% of M6s in the U.S. have a manual transmission (as you no doubt found out when searching for your M6).

A 2010 with only 8k miles - what a great find! Enjoy!

just picked mine up last week.its a 2006 m6 with 55k on the clock and is sapphire black .after having owned an e39 m5 for over 7 years and parting ways with it last year,its good to be back in the saddle again.this time with a truely awesome car.i'll never stray again!!
