well, if you take the option BMW offers, you still got full warranty.
Also youŽre getting two nice days of drivers training included in this price.
For these reasons the price seemed to be ok for me.

How can I go and register for the training ? how much does it cost ? will you be trained on M6 ?
I tried to make some research on training company all I found were companies in the US and all of them either train you on GM or CHRYSLER.

The training will be on a m-car. (probably m3 - i guess)
IŽll be getting a voucher for it.
There are some different trainings available at BMW.

M6 Delivery

Well, after waiting almost 4 weeks while the M6 sat at the Port of New York undergoing a ' factory campaign' I finaly took delivery of this amazing car on May 4th. The car is everything I expected it to be and then some and is now a stable mate to my Z8. My only problem is deciding which one to drive! Many thanks BMW, you continue to lead the field.

I'm 1st on the list and have ordered Indy Red. A Silverstone is coming in Tues 5/9 (in 2 days) and I get to take it or wait for my order. The color I could live with but there are several differences in options I want and don't want.

TOUGH DECISION!

Think I jusst decided. Since I'll drive this one for many years (recently I put very few miles on car) I'll prolly wait. My M3 has only 60k and is like new, the only reason to change is to change.

But when the beautiful, sexy lady smiles...

I already plan to take my checkbook. I might need strength.

Got IT! Thurs May 4th 2006

M6 Silverston Metallic , Black Merino Leather, Comfort Acess , Carbon fiber Black Trim, Head up display, HD Radio, Sat Radio, Carbon fiber roof.
7 speed SMG

Got it in Chicago ordered it in February. Put 100 Miles on it and had a check engin light. Got a shop to open at 12:00am put it on a rack and hooked it up to the computer. BMW in german immidiatly took control of the car it was cool. Diag, 1 Bad O2 sensor. Not uncommon.

Car is so fast and still not breaking 5,000 RPM waiting for the 1200 to open it up.

Should I be worried about the 1 of 4 o2 sensors going bad????

EXPECT things to go bad because they will. This ain't a Jap car, things will break. It's one of the prices we pay for these incredible machines.
