Love my SMG

I traded my '01 M3 6sp for a '02 M3 SMG. I LOVE the SMG, rarely miss the 6sp.

I can't wait to get the M6 SMGIII. Put deposit in 1/02, no word yet on when to order.

Thought about 911S but don't want to wait until they come out with their version of SMG, and prefer it that much to 6sp.

Once, recently, I missed the 6sp when I wanted to go and the SMG was searching for the right gear. Had I been in 6sp I woudda been gone. Not bad to really want 6sp only once, though, after driving it 56k mi.

Hello everybody,

i found this forum by searching for some more pics of my new car:
M6, rubyb black, leather golden brown, piano black.
Iīll be getting in in July and i just wondered if the colour looks that way i expect it to do...

Anybody got some pictures of that combination - i just found one in the BMW individual prospect....

greetings from germany

Armin

Thanks Frank,
i already took several looks at your car before - it looks great!

But i still haven´t found any pictures of that ruby black....

I´m hoping it´s not getting too much red.

by now i´m driving a x5 - before i had a 540 in carbon black - that´s been a great colour too.....

Armin

How about these Rubies

I downloaded these from the board. Just too lazy to re-find the links.

Get it with Amarone leather/Piano Black or Amarone trim and don't be sorry.

Yeah you are right. But, if M5 owners can pay to get Golden Brown(not listed) may be so could M6'ers can get Amarone.

No chance for Amarone wine for me except in paradise for me.
