I got the call this morning that it had finally arrived, so I had to go down and at least take a look. I won't be able to drive it home until Tuesday, but I have photos for the moment.

Yes, that is a clutch you see. I know what you all had to say about the SMG, but I was too chicken to make the leap.

My new M6 Convertible

Just traded my 03' M3 convertible for a new Black Sapphire M6 convertible with Black leather interior. Loaded with most of the options as the dealer ordered it that way. Not sure I was going to like the SMG, but after a week the only thing I can say is WOW. Hard to believe people don't like the SMG tranny, it makes the Bimmer a lot more fun to drive in my opinion. Just got the 1200 mile service and now am looking for some opportunities to open it up.

Greeney, looks awesome, I am waiting on the same except walnut not CF

CO-AZ, very nice as well. I notice in pic 3 your door speaker looks different. Is this part of enhanced premium audio pkg or aftermarket?

I also ordered the enhanced audio option since the audio in the M3's I've owned always sucked (even upgraded options).

While I'm at it, has anyone else ordered the enhanced audio?

If so have you compared it to the standard audio?

I still have a few days to delete that option if i will need to go aftermarket for decent sound.
Thanks,
Tim
