Emmy and Duke..........those are sweet rides! Welcome to the club
Duke, are you using the timed automatic air conditioner-on control to cool your interior before you get in? It might be handy when it gets toasty out there!
Do you think that your radar detector does the job? I've heard that the Valentino 1 is the best (and most expensive!). I haven't invested in one yet.

Thanks, Guzzler. Haven't used the parked car ventilation (yet), but it's definitely a great thing to have, particularly here in the sunny Southwest.
As for my Escort SR7, if you're looking for a stealth radar detector, I highly recommend it. So far, it has given me plenty of warning before coming up on speed traps. If, however, you want what has been reported to be the best radar detector (from those on this board and elsewhere) and don't mind having a relatively conspicuous unit, I would go with the V1.

I have the Valentine One in my M6 vert, and I had my stereo shop hardwire it in with the remote display right under the main gauges. It is not quite as stealth as your Passport, but it is close. As far as the performance goes though... it is FANTASTIC! Sorry no pics right now, but I will try to take some and post them here as soon as I get the chance.

Oh Friday I finally took delivery of my 2007 Indianapolis Red M6. I traded in my 5 year old Maserati Spyder. My first impressions of the M6 are that despite its neutered form (until 1200 miles) that it is utter competent, fun to drive and beautifully built. I will take photos soon, when the weather in CT improves. Raf
M6 owners are a breed apart. We are the only mammals that publish the 6.0 mpg photo in a welcome thread photo spread . We boast of it. We are proud. To us, there is no inconvenient truth . What did the gas gauge look like when you drove it up the driveway ? Doesn't matter....forget it........how was the ride to the driveway?
