        M6 Forum

We should add a M6 Forum?

Although the M6 will be M5 powered I'll just add "E60 M5 and M6" Forum Whats the BMW internal name for the 6 series? Anyone can help me out? And is int confirmed there wil be an M5 powered 6 series?

there is no confirmation on a M6. there is confirmation on the 6 series. I think most people assume there will be a M variant of the 6 series. I think it would be a big mistake if BMW did not do this- unless they have another vehicle up their sleeve....

        Three Strikes

I'm pretty much out of patience with BMW design group. Strike One: the pathetic debacle of the new 7. Strike Two: the new E60, which clearly was to be another Chris Bangle original, although BMW did succumb to the collective cries of the faithful and executed a quickie touch up job. I like the E60 now, but I don't much care for all the glaring errors and mistakes BMW has made along the way. The reputation of the marque has, imho, suffered great damage. Strike Three: the 6-series? If they screw this one up, I'm done. Let's be honest: Mercedes/AMG are producing fantastic cars. If BMW fails to clean up their act, I won't have any choice but to make some changes. I hope somebody from BMW NA is lurking, and listening. I am not alone in my sentiments. We don't like playing on a losing team.

What does this have to do with whether or not Gustav should create an M6 forum?

My post was intended for the new M6 forum. However, you are correct, JE. Until the M6 forum is created, it probably should have been posted here: BMW M5 and Z8 Forums > E60 M5 Discussion > NEW 6 Series spy photos.

I think right now we dont need it- but in a few months, as more 6 series specific info begins to come out we should have it.

I think we should start the M6 forum already - because there is pictures and information out there specific to this car. Lump it in with the E60 M5 forum if need be.

I agree, start an M6 forum. I am probably going to be more likely to buy that than the M5 as I already have a Merc S and Yukon xl Denali (don't really need another sedan plus I could still keep my 540) Anyway... was the 6 shown at the Geneva auto show? When is the planned release of the 6 and M6 (confirmed??).
