Could be bad voltage meter. I was getting voltage spikes which would cause the same issues.
As a preventative measure I replaced my 80,000 mile battery and alternator. I could have just replaced the voltage regulator, but at 80,000 miles, it was about time for a new alternator.
To measure/monitor my voltage, I use my radar detector in the volts setting. It's amazing that BMW released a tech laden car without something as simple as a voltmeter -- or a dipstick!
yeah, that's what I said. I've wondered if it's because he had never had a brake fluid flush, and had the original brake fluid in there. I know I flush mine a few times a year, and I've never had any issues.....and mine has 73k miles on it.
Pray that it is not the ABS pump. I had the same code error and it was ABS pump. Ktlocklear is right. I had about 17,000 miles on the car at the time. MEGA MEGA expensive! The part alone from the stealer ship is over $3,000.00. I hope you have a warranty..
