Need Advice | AutoCarbon: Carbon Fiber + Alcantara Steering Wheel

Hello Everyone!

Has anyone upgraded their steering wheel with the one from AutoCarbon. Like the one below.

I have been itching to get one, but just can't convince myself to pull the trigger. So, I have a few questions.

1) Has anyone used it?
2) Are you happy with the quality, finish and fitment? I don't expect fitment to be an issue since they use the OEM core.
3) Is it worth the 1000 USD?

Appreciate all advice and suggestions.

Thanks
Hasan

Man that is an awesome steering wheel and just what the M6 needs to give if that sporty feel. I am not a big fan of the stock steering wheel on these beasts. They are just to big and round. I would love to get one of these however the $1,000 price tag just seems a little to high. Sometime in the near future though.

Awesome steering wheel indeed.

I thought George / GKinvest has done it.

I'm certain George will be chiming in here soon.

Your buddy here has it. I love it. I added CF upper switch trim and already had the lower CF trim. Great feel. I got mine from bimmian.com

For a six-pack, I'll drive up and help you. Very simple actually, remove steering wheel airbag (One push of a flat head screwdriver), remove trim pieces with a torx, unplug the wires under the airbag and connections to button (3-4 plugs total). 15mm 6 point socket and remove steering wheel.

Reverse to install

Sounds simple enough that I think I can actually to it!

Thanks Allan!

I will always have cold beer and hot dinner waiting for you and Julie at my house.
