m6 Value

So I've Noticed the //M6 prices have been dropping lately. Do You think 20+ years its value will go up as a classic car?
There are only a little more then 9,000 E63 //M6s built and about 5,000 E64 built so a total of 14,000 //M6 built E63/E64 Versions.
Due to regulations Powerful Sports Cars sound of the cars just aren't the same anymore and more Super Cars are going to V8s now.
So what do you guys think?

Well considering these cars will most likely be the last of the great NA V10s I would say that yes they will be a collector at some point. It will probably take more then 20 years though.

I think it will, at best match the E24 m6's current status as a classic (which really is getting sexier by the day IMO). Keep in mind whatever value it retains, you will spend beyond that on maintenance, repairs, and GAS if you plan on enjoying the car.

I am looking forward to keeping it for another 5 years at the very least because i cannot find another car that provides the same type of comfort, built quality, excitement, subtlety (compared to other car in it's class, aston, r8, 911 turbo), and class.

at least not one i can afford with the same amount of money i paid for this car in the used market.

If you plan on keeping yours for a long time - just be prepared for upkeep costs.

As you all know, our beasts are very complicated machines in comparison to older generation BMW's.

just a question, i plan on keeping mine for a long time, what upkeep costs would we have to go through besides the basic maintenance?
