Not aware of any others that have installed a wet nitrous system yet but I know there's a few M6 dry nitrous systems out there. Am mostly finished with the installation of all the components and lines. Just got more fittings in the mail a few minutes ago so have more parts to now continue with the install. There's a requirement for LOTS of fittings and adapters and have no local source for those so have to wait for mail delivery. Am using all crimp fittings on the stainless braided lines and not using connections that are just clamped. The last fittings I'm waiting for are one NX part # 16077 & one 16078 1/8 NPT to 3AN Y's that go from the outlets of the solenoids. Also have to plug the purge ports on the 2 main solenoids with 1/8" NPT plugs.
If you're considering an install like this, start looking for 4AN & 6AN braided line on Ebay or other racing team sites that sell their used lines. These are usually Aeroquip and they are in almost perfect condition since the NASCAR race teams replace their lines very frequently. You'll get the 4AN main feed line with your Nitrous Express 20816-10 Nitrous System but you won't get a 6AN feed line with the SAFE Fuel System.
You'll need the following:
12" 6AN line to go from the SAFE Fuel System mounted in the trunk to the fuel pump mounted below the trunk. There's no need to drill a hole for this line as there's a rubber plug in the perfect place to route the line already. Just remove the plug. From the pump you then run your 6AN main fuel line. You'll need about 18 feet to go from the pump to the fuel pressure regulator/pressure gauge depending on how you route the line. I ordered 20 feet and just coiled the extra near the pump under the trunk. Then you'll need 18" of 6AN line to go from the regulator to the fuel filter/fuel solenoid. You'll get the 3AN lines that go from the nitrous & fuel solenoids to the nozzles with the 20816 kit but because of where I mounted the solenoids I used two additional 4' 4AN lines and 2 of the short lines that came with the system. You do get the fuel pump & regulator with the SAFE fuel system part # 15003.
For the nitrous lines you'll get the main feed line that goes from the bottle in the trunk to the nitrous filter/pressure gauge/purge valve assembly under the hood. From this assembly you'll need a 12" 4AN line to the nitrous solenoid. From the purge valve you'll need a 3' 4AN line to go to the NX part # 16082 Y-fitting to split into 2 purge lines if you want dual purge lines. Then you'll need a 4' 4AN line for the purge line to the drivers side and a n 8" 4AN line for the passenger side.
For fittings you'll need:
(2) 1/2" NPT male to 6AN male for the fuel pump.
(2) .041 jets for the nitrous & .032 jets for the E85 in the auxiliary SAFE Fuel System.
Then it depends on if your lines come with 90 degree, 45 degree, or straight ends. If you live near a big city where you can just go to a store and get the fittings you need as you install that would be the best. You might have different preferences on where you want to mount components and that would also determine the fittings/lines you'll need.
To install the nozzles it requires a 9/16th" hole in each of the induction tubes. There's like a double nut that clamps on to the air tube from both sides as you tighten it. I sealed that from inside & outside the tube with ultrablack gasket maker. I also put Loctite Blue on the threads to keep it tight. When I drilled the two 9/16" holes I just pushed a clean rag in the tube past where the holes would be and pulled it out after the drilling so the plastic from the holes came out with the rag. The plastic of the tubes is very thick so it's a nice solid mounting surface.
Here's a few pics of where everything is installed and I'll add pics and videos as I get the system going. Rocket5979 (Rob) will be helping me with the electrical part of this system as he has lots more experience with nitrous systems than I do. We'll do dyno runs with & without the nitrous also. With this jetting it's supposed to be +150 HP at the wheels so we'll see how it does at the dyno. Evolve is doing a tune which will retard the timing 4 degrees for when I use the nitrous. This tune will be taking into account all of my mods just like my main tune except for the timing retard. You'll also need the NGK plugs that are 2 steps colder & I have a thread here that discusses those.
Ask any questions you may have & I'll try to answer as best possible.
