Lmao! I don't speed in VA period. They have some of the harshest speed laws in the country.

If a car equipped with lights like that flashed me in Hawaii, I'd ignore it and keep on driving. Without a light bar on top, I'd have a good defense for not stopping (only). There was a cop who murdered a young girl about 25 years ago and the theory is that he stopped her using his in-grille blue lights (but did not have the light bar on the roof of his POV). So she saw that he was a cop and stopped but no one else driving by perceived it as a traffic stop by a cop (off-duty in civies). She disappeared and her decomposed body was found miles away a year and a half later. The cop was never charged or even named, but other cops knew exactly who it was (my wife's cousin was a cop with HPD back then).

So my policy is, without a light bar, they might not be a cop, or it might be a murderous off-duty cop. Sounds good in theory.... Ha ha ha

Where I live, speeding (even at speeds where you can go directly to jail) is not a felony. However, failure to stop (like trying to out-run the cops) is a felony. As is street racing and leaving the scene of an accident. Plus, I don't want the cops to shoot at me. So, I'll always pull and either beat the ticket in court of just pay the fine and get on with life. Running from the cops only makes you look like a criminal in their eyes.

Ya of course but in no way did I mean that as a serious comment I just mean that the car is so fast compared to the standard crown vic's that the gtr would just be driving circles around you even if u tried. But I've heard stories like that of people getting pulled over in the most shady ways. Not to be disrespectful to anyone including cops but running away from a cop is the stupidest thing you could ever do and it's funny how people gloat about it. And at the same time for cops Ive never been pulled over in my M6 knock on wood but when I was a teen I got a couple fare tickets but it sucks when your dealing with a lying cop that just needs to fill his quota.

Seems like it would belong to a guy trying to be Will Smith in bad Boys; I don't think any PD would stomach 100k for a Japanese car.

IME When I've been stopped by an undercover (or unmarked) I always leave the car in 1st gear ready to roll.
