I feel your pain. I have my car in the dealership for a new clutch.

How many miles has the car done since the clutch was last changed? Sometimes you can get it fixed under warranty if it's a defective part, this depends on the state of the clutch and how many miles the car has done.

Good luck

2007 M6 has 59,000 miles on it. I figure if I'm doing the clutch I need to do the flywheel since I'm keeping the beast for a few more years. Dealer worked out $3700 for parts and labor on clutch/flywheel.

Decent price or find an indie shop? At least at the dealer I know they'll get it right but I could save money going indie.
