There's also a diff between a beach bum in his 20's and someone successful. I'm sure most of use younger guys are more classy and successful and not your avg 20something year old beach bum or spoiled rich kid,etc...

There are a number of over 45 year old owners on the Board, but not that many have posted on the poll.

As Bryan (Carrisco) pointed out, the demographics are changing as more M6s hit the resale market and prices are half of the original sticker. Nothing wrong with any of that and I applaud the "youngsters" for having the taste to own an M6.

Now if the poll was was restricted to original owners only, you can be sure the age spread would be very different. I say this as this is not the first time a poll like this has been for the E63/E64 M6. And the average age drops as the years go by.

Cheers

I agree with you Mark, if you started a poll asking who bought their M6 new it would be a whole lot different.

Let's not read too much into the poll. The only thing we are sure is this. We all have incredible taste in the same beast. Everything else becomes irrelevant.

just got my 09' M6 last weekend. I am 33......

i think for people who can afford to buy an M6 new should at least be in their mid to late 30s.....

a used M6 could varies....considering an used 06' can be have for mid to high 30k...which is pretty much the same price as a new 328i...and at the other end a 2010 is about low 60k......that's a huge price range

Well I guess I'm on the far left of the spectrum, owning an m6 at the age of 18. I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to have such an amazing car at such a young age.

Literally same thing with me. Got it when I was 19. Just turned 21 last month. I'm located in Staten Island, NY. Thats crazy that all 3 of us live that close.
