Congrats to all of you young guys who own these amazing cars.
That is funny right there. Sound like my old man haha

I paid 53k for my 08 M6 with 37k miles on it. I graduated college early to get a jump start on making money and was just ready to move on with life. I work for my Familys Oilfield company in Houston. Tough industry to learn but its nice working with family.

It actually doesn't surprise me too much. I've watched the dynamics of the board change over the last two years as the younger members pick up the older models ('06 - '08). Essentially, once sticker drops below about $40-$45k, financing becomes available for younger buyers. Of course, I don't speak for all but I know when I was 20-25, if financing was in reach for a spectacular car like the M5/M6, I would have signed the line without thinking twice.

Fortunately, that deal wasn't available for me, so I was able to avoid being strapped down by huge payments at a young age. In my opinion, part of owning the car of your dreams is not having the stress of massive car payments or repair bills that you really can't afford after said large payments (sort of takes the enjoyment away)...

That being said, congratulations to our young responsible members and their success!

Same, on the 10th The poll should have a group 28-34 so I don't feel so bad about it.

30's aren't too bad. Made no difference to me at least. Been happily married since 24 with 2 kids. Hint: it's the kids that age you. Not so much your age

28, bought the M6 in 2009 and then had the stroker put in in 2011. I run a currency options market making desk at a large proprietary trading firm (similar to a hedge fund but with no clients).

My wife and I are both 27. Feels like we are still 21 haha. I wonder sometimes when we are 60 if we will still feel like we are in our 20's

I co-own an Investment Management company that trades in futures and commodities, but been trading for over 10 years now. I started at 16 with my own money from part time jobs at 15 and various money I saved through the years. After I lost all my money I had ever saved, I learned a few lessons and kept perfecting myself. Eventually it paid off and I was able to get myself through college paying for it on my own and now my toys

Nothing wrong with being young and owning nice things, but people still think you don't work hard for your money or that it was given to you. That is my biggest pet peeve for sure!

Bought mine at 23, 24 now. When I park my car, I still look back at it like a beautiful woman walked by. A spectacular pice of automobile engineering.
