For those with a Front lip and 20" Wheels, please advise:

My friend is purchasing some 20" wheels, will be 20x9F and 20x10.5R

What tires are you running and do you have problems with rubbing / being too low?

I was going to say a 255/35/20F and 295/30/20R but I'm sure some of you run 255/30/20 and 295 - 305/25/20s

He's on H&R springs so I don't want him being too messed up.

If you could post pics and your insight on what he should run, I would appreciate it!

Thank you

JME

It will depend a ton on the offset of the wheels. If the offset is not super aggressive then 295 on the rear should work.

John,

Did you ever get a good answer on this? I ask because I'm interested too. My new wheels will be 20X9.5 and 20X11 though.

hey john, im pretty sure that a 305 will rub. Im not sure if you remember but my car has 295's with a 10mm spacer and i was having problems with rubbing until i got the fenders rolled. i know you shouldnt have a problem with 295's on 20's but 305's will def look better though as it will have a very flush fitment in the rear.
