100HP (M) Button Tune

The other day I was checking out my friends 2007 M5. He has had the car for almost a year and just put on a new Dinan exhaust and an ESS tune. When he took me for a ride I noticed he never pushed the magic (M) button on the steering wheel. He said "what button" and proceeded to show me that he had all of the aggressive driving settings already in place on the iDrive. To my amazement he told me he has never driven the car with the (M) button deployed!
It was an awesome feeling to reach over and introduce him to 500hp.... He has unknowingly driven the car for a year in 400hp mode!
Needless to say he about crapped his pants when he drove in M mode. I refused to let him take off the DSC until he got used to the power.
I told him he owes me a six pack for my 5 second 100hp (M) button tune

Priceless. Most of the tuners are selling 20-30 HP for about $1,000. I figure that tune is worth about $3,500.

Great story. It was like your first date ever at a young age, when in the first year you were already excited enough to play just the kiss game , then all of a sudden you realized that you were missing out a button to press

what a clueless guy! How does he not know that? Well I guess it's possible. I know a girl with DCT M3's who didn't know how to activate the manual mode of her transmission until I told her about it; she was clueless for over a year driving in D.
