And It All Starts With The First Mod (Full Build 08 M6)

Hi fellow M5board members,

I have been starting a build project on my 2008 M6 and will be updating
this thread frequently with the new mods and reviews of these products
as they are done.

The goal of this project is to modify my M6 the way it should have come
from factory; focusing on both the aesthetics and performance aspects
of the car. Without losing any of the functionality of the vehicle.

Before I get to the Mods I have to thank:

Pio for hooking me up with the ASR intake,
Ivan at DCT Motorsports (Sonic Motorsports) for the carbon fiber steering wheel and shift knob,

By far a way better tire then the PS2's. They hook way better i can feel them grab from the back in every pull. Not sure yet but from there stats there supposed to last a lot longer also.

Love the mods and the individualism you're adding to your M. I'd love to see a pic of the steer wheel installed - it's going to look killer!

Looking good!

The stock rear tires are 285/35's not 285/30's as mentioned above. Did you mean to say you went to a 295/35? I would think a 295/30 would be too short of a sidewall with a 40 series front tire. Either way...I can't wait to see some pictures!

Edited... tires are 295/30 currently had a typo with the stocks. I thought the same about the sidewall being to short but when i got the measurements it was less then a 5mm difference. Picks will be up as soon as I get the SD Card. Im looking to buy a wide angle lens for my DSLR then ill shoot some sick shots and post them also.

Very nice...can't wait to see it completed. You are dropping some serious coin on these mods too! That exhaust is freaking awesome!

I also got new PSS for the rear and they are a much better tire than the PS2. I actually went to a 275/30/19 instead of 295/30 and they are great.
