Im going to try and drive it more this week and weekend and when I put about 100miles on it, the ecu should have fully adapted and then I will get it dyno'd.
Wait for it -- it will come and it will scare you. I did my Evolve tune 2 weeks ago but due to dusty weather have only driven my car 2 days earlier this week. First day there was slightly noticeable difference -- very slight. Second day in the morning to work there was more of a difference then the same day on my way home from work in the evening I was speechless with the power surge -- got an empty stretch of highway and downshifted and gave it full gas -- lets just say that without even realizing at the end of 3rd gear at 8600rpm right before shifting to 4th I was already at around 113mph (180km/hr) then I slowed down lol. Unfort the dust is back again so car is in hibernation but I can't wait to see the further increase in power that is yet to come for the next 300 or so miles as the ECU adapts (it takes more than 100miles by the way for the ecu to adapt - its more like 300miles or 2 full tanks of gas). Good luck and enjoy your new found power!

Ok thats good to know i'll drive it more before dyno'ing it. Today was the first real time I got to play on the freeway a little and WOW i def notice a difference on the freeway. The car was already just ridiculous fast with the current mods but I can tell with the tune it has much more power and holds it longer. I got on it in 3rd at around 5krpm and usually I dont get that crazy kick like when im in 2nd at say 5500-6krpm but in 3rd at only 5krpm it literally slammed me back and just pulled so hard it was ridiculous. I cant remember if I shifted to 4th and then 5th or just stayed in 4th but when I looked at my speedo I was already at 140mph and backed off. I still dont feel much of a diff with throttle response on low end, and I figured I would esp with the MAF removal but maybe its just becasue I was used to the sprint booster before. Even the SB in the green mode felt a little better with throttle response but mabye the ecu will adapt more with time.

My car this evening seemed very confused -- am I stock or am I tuned? lol. Fired her up after 2 days siesta and got some vibration from the engine and an unstable cold start then yellow engine light popped up. Switched her off for about a minute then on again, nothing -- like new. Still though driving her tonight I could really feel like the ECU was adapting -- car slightly hesitated on how much power to deliver then baaaam extreme power overcomes me in an instant. Its a bit of a strange feeling but I'm guessing that will pass once the ECU adapts fully.

Parked her out for a couple of hours afterwards and fired her up and there was also a little bit of a rough idle with a sort of "ticking" sound coming from the engine -- wasn't sure what that was but it went away when the engine heated up after a slow drive around the block. No warning light though thank God.

Then went to dinner -- 3 hours later came and started her up again purred like a kitten.

Guessing the car is now at a phase similar to that of a young teen going through puberty lol. Hoping all will settle down the road. Maybe someone with more experience with these tunes could shed some light?

^^^ My check engine light came back on as well after the tune. Increased emissions. I checked the code with the Evolve cable and it is 2776 DMTL pump. No idea what that means. I emailed Sal so I will know shortly.

If I remember correctly the Dmtl pump is a pump attached to the gas tank for emissions...

Interesting - do let us know Built. My issue turned out to be related to the vanos function which I found out when I took the beast in to a local mechanic BMW specialist. They bled the vanos (this was last Saturday) - have been driving the car every day and night since and issue hasn't returned thank God.

Ive heard of people bleeding the Vanos system. Did your tech tell you how often this should be done? If you dont mind sharing, what was the cost?

Thanks

He didn't actually tell me how often that needs to be done to be honest but it did fix the problem. Took the car to a local BMW specialist garage and not to dealers even though I'm under warranty because I didn't want to wait 2 weeks to have this issue diagnosed. Since I didn't go to dealers I got charged around $60 for diagnostic test, bleeding and labor . Not bad. Dropped the car off went for lunch 2 hours later car was done lol.
