I have a guy who happens to be a mechanic at a dealer in the OC. He quoted me 750+ parts for an smg pump fix. That comes out to roughly $1020. The electric pump is only 270 at my dealership!! This is the guy who said he can do the job in 3hrs flat! He's done at least 20 clutch smg changes on the m5/6

It seems that your case may be the exception considering your issues were well documented and happened on more than one occasion. Unfortunately for the rest of us who are running into the issue for the first time will not have a winning legal case. It'll just fall under wet and tear
