The only con would be if you were doing a partial wrap, then the panels would be uneven from the uv fade. Also make sure to use a good wrapper. Common newb mistakes would be to use super glue in hard to adhere corners and use of an exacto knife on the paint, which wouldn't be noticed until after its removed. Also if your planning on selling the car wrapped, I'd take pics of the process so that the future owner understands that your not hiding anything
Didn't think about that ( pics before / during wrap). great point!

BimmerBoost
I think that color looks excellent. It is exactly what I was thinking about in my earlier post when I mentioned frozen grey. Not a big fan of the wheels on the car.

The LEDs look like the ones Whatheheck has on his M6.

DipYourCar has piqued my interest recently, but I want to see high resolution photos before I commit to that. Doing the M6 in matte white has crossed my mind multiple times lately, and the fact that it would leave no residue behind when peeled off is also appealing.

Their process on the M3 was fun to watch: PlastiDip M3 Matte White - DipYourCar.com Pro Car Kit - YouTube

Because it kind of is. I'm speaking for myself here, but I find it flashy and tacky. A matte color (or even a regular gloss) looks good, is subtle and gets the job done. Chrome even on wheels is a bit much, gunmetal or painted is arguably superior from an aesthetics perspective. That said, it's your car and aesthetics is really in the eye of the beholder.

I'm debating getting matte white.

As for needing to redo your whole car, I suppose it depends on the installer. Might just need the section or they might want to do the whole car.
