Looks like driving in the rain with DSC off to me. Heavy foot on some pedal at the wrong time (my guess anyway).

I think its a combination of all your guesses.

He was driving with DSC off and road is slippery.
Turbo lag kicked in.

Girlfriend on the passenger seat singing to his microphone and he accidentally punched the gas pedal down hard as an unintentional reaction due to his delight so the car slips sideways which then caused the accident. Maybe? Just a guess.....

Here are all I can read from your sentence "Girlfriend ... down hard ... his delight ... slips sideways ... ". No wonder he had an accident.
