Great thread! +1 on the Pagid yellows, I run RS 19 for track, only because Pagid USA does not carry RS 29 (their latest yellow compound) for E39 M5.

Wow Keith.

That looks totally "business" (as my 15 year old son would say).

Lots of valuable information in this thread, thanks guys.

However, i'm in the same situation as you were, tracking the M6 often and close to the limit. As I improved, the fear rose that one mistake, one corner taken too wide or too fast would end up with a hefty repair bill...or worse.
Didn't you consider buying a dedicated track car? That's what i'm looking into right now, something cheap like a E36 328. I usually fly by those on the straights, but being ultra-light they always outbrake me. If they can keep their speed up in the corners it is even difficult to catch up with them on exit/ next straight.

My latest vid (link in signature, the one on Circuit Zolder) explains, and also shows my amateuristic driving.

Yes...I will get a track car sometime down the road. Looking at E36 M3's, E46 M3's, or C5 Z06's

went to website and It says they won't clear. dam----it.

They are also ideal for E46 M3 owners who want to run a staggered setup with 9.5" rears, or as part of a spacer free 9.5" square setup.
Also fits Z3 and Z4 M applications.
These wheels can clear all Big Brake kits except for the Brembo 380mm kit.
The wheel can be used on other model bmw's as well but proper tire size and suspension setup is needed for fitment.
