Dont like reviving old threads..but I have a question thats appropriate for here I guess. When wrapping...what do you typically do with the badges? Cut the vinyl? or do u remove the badge, install vinyl, then reinstall badge? Plz and Thank you

Why would you want to pay that much for a wrap when you could get a full repaint for a little more?

PoonTang: I'm getting mine wrapped now, and according to my research: Good wrapper will remove handles, emblems, etc. and re-install them after.

Donoman: for matte finish, i would prefer vinyl over paint for couple reasons. one of them if i ever change my mind, i can always remove the vinyl. it does protect paint from chips and scratches, also some less expensive paint-jobs ( around the price of a vinyl wrap) eventually get sheen on corners and around the edges, just from regular use, wash, was whatever...

Would suck though if they put the badges slightly off. Lol. My friend and I would always point out when we knew a BMW got into an accident and had to have the trunk replaced, and they reinstalled the badge too high, too low, crooked etc.
