No idea but its clear that deletion of the primary cats are where the gains are at. Evolve has run every test in their arsenal deleting secondaries, mufflers, resonators, etc. and that's where the real gains come from.

sure, about 1,000 regulations to control emissions. I cant understand why anyone would even consider this, but to each their own.

I am not sure yet. Yeah that is why I went with the HF cats. I didnt want issues with catless or gutless headers.

Whats going on man? What are you up to?

Sorry to spoil the party folks, but I strongly doubt the validity of these numbers.

1) Evolve suggests that using their magnificent headers WITH a stage 2 tune produces a 43 CRANK hp gain. That is 31-32 whp.
2) My personal experience. I have on my car the following :

a) Agency Power catless headers
b) RPI gt race exhaust
c) ESS stage II tune
d) Schrick cams
e) RPI intake
f) RPI underdrive pulley
g) RPI oil cooler

Cost ? Approximately 11000 USD. The best I have seen over my baseline is 60-65 whp ( depending on day, temperature, humidity etc ). That is approximately an 80 crank hp gain.

Now how a primary cat delete can give a 50 whp gain is something to be investigated. If only gains in a normally aspirated car were so easy ....
My measuments are in line with Evolve, ESS, Racing Dynamics and Schnitzer upgrade packs. So I assume they are correct

George

GK, what have you been up to man? I think evolve headers are 25-40 hp at the crank with out the tune. I think the tune is another 10-15 hp. I have some dynos already done, when I get the headers I will do a dyno after the evolve hf headers are installed and then once again after the tune so we can all see.

What is it that you don't understand from what I wrote ?

Pay a visit to the Evolve official site and check their S85 tuning package, consisting of their headers AND stage 2 tune.

550 CRANK hp. A very hefty 43 crank hp increase, That is 31-32 whp.

Now if you dyno your car on dynodynamics machine ... anything is possible !!!
