Thanks the kind words Allan and Gary!
Gary, the only solution I know to the wind noise is using a stand alone audio recorder similar to what I have.
To my experience, the built in mic will always be susceptible to extreme wind noise wherever we put it, and the built in mic, even their own external mic is simply not good enough to capture the great sound of our exhausts.
I thank Mark Carson for recommending to use a small pocket digital audio recorder.
During video editing, I synch up the two audio, then mute the Drift audio so the video and audio are in perfect synch.
The stand alone digital audio recorder works really really good and sounds really good.
Re: the chicks, those are the Hooter gals I plan to hire next year to do our car wash : )
I thought I'd include the photos on my video to make you all smile today. Looks like mission accomplished!
Great video Dan! Thanks for taking the time to put it together.
And a big Thanks goes out to Jim (SeaM6) for putting together an Urban assault on Seattle.
Albert, Edwin, Dan, Matt, Mike & Jim are a great bunch of guys to hang out with. These drives are some of the best times I have with my car!
My video is bombed with wind noise, it seems the external mic did not over ride the internal mic. I'm still trying to scratch out some usable clips.
Altho, I do have one big problem! ... How did I miss the chicks? ... lol DANG!!!
