Early morning drive part 4

Here you go for sharing.

Us Seattle guys went out for an early morning drive again yesterday and had a lot of fun.

This time Jim took us on a route with lots of tunnels so we get to hear our exhausts.

Thanks again very much to Jim/SeaM6 for taking the lead.

Thanks again to Albert, Edwin, Gary, Matt & Mike for keeping it safe.

Here's a short video for sharing showcasing our beautiful beasts and the beautiful Northwest.

Note to the new members:
I am not posting asking for your approval or asking whether you like my video or not. I am posting for sharing.

If you dont like my video or you dont like my kind of music or you dont like what we do - its OK, its my video.
You too can create your own video and do what you like.

Dan

If you can, watch it in HD 720p mode.

Dan, you outdid yourself! What a great video. You and the other members are very lucky to have linked up on the Seattle Autobahn. The cam takes exceptional video and looks even more exceptional in 720p. Even the drive on water (or was that a passing female flotilla), was exceptional.

Thanks for taking the time creating and sharing that wonderful video. You are hereby appointed official videographer in Sevilla!

All the best to you and the Seattle metro area gang...

Great video Dan! Thanks for taking the time to put it together.

And a big Thanks goes out to Jim (SeaM6) for putting together an Urban assault on Seattle.

Albert, Edwin, Dan, Matt, Mike & Jim are a great bunch of guys to hang out with. These drives are some of the best times I have with my car!

My video is bombed with wind noise, it seems the external mic did not over ride the internal mic. I'm still trying to scratch out some usable clips.

Altho, I do have one big problem! ... How did I miss the chicks? ... lol DANG!!!

Thanks the kind words Allan and Gary!

Gary, the only solution I know to the wind noise is using a stand alone audio recorder similar to what I have.
To my experience, the built in mic will always be susceptible to extreme wind noise wherever we put it, and the built in mic, even their own external mic is simply not good enough to capture the great sound of our exhausts.

I thank Mark Carson for recommending to use a small pocket digital audio recorder.
During video editing, I synch up the two audio, then mute the Drift audio so the video and audio are in perfect synch.

The stand alone digital audio recorder works really really good and sounds really good.

Re: the chicks, those are the Hooter gals I plan to hire next year to do our car wash : )
I thought I'd include the photos on my video to make you all smile today. Looks like mission accomplished!

Dan

Dan, that video turned out really nice! The girls in there really caught me off guard HAH. I started the video up and was showing my girlfriend, it just so happened she lost interest just before the random girl photos. That would have been awkward

Grey too bad about the wind noise. If you have any good clips even without the audio do share. I'll probably, as has been my tradition, compile all the different captured clips from the adventure and sync into a fun music video.

Dan,

Great video again. We relive the happy moments because of your hard work on that. I need to reemphasize this. As we enjoy such wonderful clips, we need to remember Dan put in 5-10 hours every time to edit. So was Matt and Gary. That was serious time and serious work. Let's give a round of applause to them to give us such a permanent memory of the fun drive.

The tunnels were fun. The video mostly captured Dan's exhaust. For folks that are reading, if you were in that first tunnel, where five of us accelerated in turn from 20 to 90 mph, it was trulyl like a fleet of F1 racing cars taking off and the wave of high pitch one after another was intoxicating to say the least. The guy in the very end must be the most lucky one.

I hope I was more fore-warned before the hot girls came up. I wasn't as luck as Matt. Very strangely, my wife walked over to see what videos I was watching 5 seconds before they came up (my big smile might have been a give-away) and I had to rewind the video to prove my innocence and blame the videographer for the lack of judgment. Then after she left, I watched that piece two more times.

Jim
