Finally Bought One...

Well I finally pulled the trigger on a 2008 black on black convertible M6!!! Love it!!! I have driven it so much the guys at the gas station know me by my first name! I got a really good deal on it at the BMW dealership and it only has 17,000 miles on it. This is my 4th BMW and the best one I have ever owned. I had two 3 series, and my latest car I had was a 2008 535i which I traded in for this one.

When I was a teenager I fell in love with the M3's and the M5's. The last few years I have been looking online for an M5 and I fell in love with the M6. Great car because I am single, young, and 0 kids so I figured the M6 was a better car for me. I have to admit, I feel a little weird with the top down cruising Atlanta, hopefully I will get over that. Just seems a little girly.

Overall I couldnt be more pleased. I loved my phones, computers and technology to be the best and the fastest and this car just adds to my collection of toys!! Love it!!! Haha the only thing that I didnt like is when I went to go get my dry cleaning the other day, wasnt sure where to put it, haha.


I have been reading this board a lot and just want to thank everyone for their post. Just removed the Charcoal Filters ( #%@#% you EPA and CA). I will admit, I do not know much about modifications with cars but this was super easy. What do you reccomend for the next upgrade? ECU Tunner or Exhaust? I don't know how much modifying I really want to do because I am hoping BMW will unleash a beast over the next few years with the newer M6. Anyones thoughts on that? Took this picture today of my baby!

Go with the RPI scoops and bmc filters with block off plates. cheap, like $300 total. search for rpi intake or rpi scoops and you will find it on here. Nice car. Im going to be angry if you got it for less than $50k

Haha no no no. I wish! It was in the 60s price range. I really wish I had the carbon fiber interior because it looks more sporty but oh well. Thanks for the info, I will check those out.

Congrats on the new beast. Mine is identical outside, but has the carbon fiber interior. 07, 26K miles and under $50K!!! Thats the only way a poor slob like me could afford one! lol I'm eyeing up exhaust, air filters, LED angel eyes, LED DRL's, cf lip and diffuser.

Congrats on your acquisition, the last generation of the true ///M vehicles in my humble opinion. As far as mods go, this board has wealth of info beyond your imagination, just do a search but be careful, it's quite addicting! Check out our signatures for ideas as well and this thread:
