Thanks for all the "welcomes" and advice. What is O Fest? I would love to come. Really would like to meet other BMW car enthusiast. I will get some more pictures of it when I get a chance. I really wish I had the carbon fiber trim on the inside so I will probably change that out. I saw someone had reccomended a mechanic over in Kennesaw, GA but does anyone know a place closer to Buckhead/Atlanta that will work on a BMW as far as performance mods?

And trust me...I know once I mod one thing I will want to do everything, haha. I tend to over kill everything. When I mod things though I like to stick with the same company for all my mods. I have been checking out Evosport and RPI. Dinan seems like a good company but the performance increases with the other companies seems to be better. You really think the ECU tuner is worth $1,000?

Great choice on car and color. As others said that RPI Scoops, Block Off Plates, BMC filters and charcoal filter delete are the simple and inexpensive mods. The rest gets more subjective. I have never modded a car before, but this is the one that I want to keep and personalize to me.

If it would ever stop raining I would take some photos and a video of my Tubis.

Congrats on your new beast! Its beautiful and I know how you feel coz I just picked mine up in June-one of the last of the 2010's.
First thing I did was had the dealer install Dinan software and underdrive pulley at the 1200 mile service, and then followed the board's member reccs and did the RPI scoops, block offs, charcoal deletes, and bmc filters. The dang thing hauls.
You can do the "RPI" stuff yourself or with a semi-mechanically inclined friend and there are links on the RPI website on how-to-do the scoops and blockoffs. Takes about an hour.

I think there are some really hot tunes out there that easily better the Dinan, (most of the tunes raise rev limiter, remove 155 mph top speed limiter, improve driveability, but some seem to offer more) but the dealer can do the Dinan plus a pulley for about 2k. I'd check out the tune that RPI offers, and there's a great video out from a board member called dafstst called "A must see short film M6 Enthusiasts"-check it out! Well worth the price of admission.

Yeah every time I see that video I run and get my keys and head to the batmobile and enable MMMMMmmmMMM Mode! Yeah I think I am just going to stick with the basics for now; the charcoal filter removal, RIP intake system, pulley, and ECU tune. I honestly like the sound the car makes already so I am really not thinking about exhaust yet. I really do think this model will be a collectors edition due to the fact it has a V10! When I start thinking about mods I kind of laugh because I really can't even drive this car the way it was made around Atlanta. By the time you get to 4th gear you will be going to jail if they pull you over. I went and met my family for dinner last night and on the way back home there was about 12 rice burners on the interstate just cruising a long and having fun. I really enjoyed pulling up next to them and showing them the V10 My goal is to get this car around 550-600 hp with out dropping too much money. Would love to be able to just roast a CST V.

I think I am going to have to go out and get me a cheap suv to drive around for work. I am in sales and I dont think it is really smart to be driving the M6 making sales calls, or at least that is what my guilty conscious says.

Finally got my UGA tag and put it on the vehicle, looks mighty nice!

What do you think about the M tag on the front of the car? It came that way when I bought it and put an M tag on it versus the dealership tag. They said they could take the plate holder off but there would be two holes on the car. Is this true? Could I plug them?

Congrats and welcome! The Doubletree in Buckhead is my second home!! I travel to ATL for business twice a month. I know what you mean about the cops and traffic but I don't have the same problem in my National Rent-a Car!

Haha yeah there is no speeding on Peachtree. The lanes are just big enough for a scooter and there is a light that is red every 7.5 yards.
