Status update

We have about 17 drivers (registered and paid) as of now. A couple more guys are hoping to commit by the end of the week (by August 14th). But this still leaves a lot of open slots.

Those of you who indicated interest just be aware that BMW is no longer holding the other 30 or so slots for us.

I'm not saying that anyone can't sign up and go. Only that the longer you wait, the lower your chances of getting a slot.

I'm now posting the "Binding Reply" (registration form), the Terms and Conditions, Cancellation Policy, and the event flyer so anyone who is interested can review them and sign up. However as a courtesy, if you register with BMW M, please send me an email or PM so I can keep a correct head count of M5Board members.

The date to enter on the registration form is "03 11 2011". November 3rd is the dinner and presentation while November 4th is the driving day. But enter the 3rd on the form.

Yep, Friday evening for you would have been early Saturday morning in Germany. So you may hear from them late this evening or early tomorrow. I usually hear from them about 5 hours from now and onward (1715 Sunday in Hawaii).

Good to hear that you've sent it in. See you in Spain.

I think by the time the over the weekend registrations are processed, we will have 19 drivers.
