The charging pin is different from all I read. I sent you the BMW part number via email. For some reason Apple changed the input pin on the 4/4S and ultimately BMW manufactured a snap in with the new configuration. Based on the part number differences, it seems the newest is the part number I provided. Sorry if you have to try another. There's probably a wiring change with one pin to match. I'll keep looking to see if I can find a wiring diagram of the adapter and iPhone pin out

Thanks Remi.

When you say remove the side of center console to access the screws, is it inside the console compartment? or outside? For the good of me, I couldn't find which side I am suppose to remove?

Btw, for the handbrake boot, can I just pull it off after removing it from the fitting ?

There are several versions of the BMW cradle for iPhones. Here's the correct one; BMW Apple iphone 4 Media Snap In Adapter OEM (220928981891). Pay attention to the part number.

Is this the one you have?
I've checked the part number you have given and it's unknown in real OEM, are you sure about the part number ?

Remi,

You can use this I guess: 84212218390
It is cross-used across the X5, E90, F01, etc. It is applicable for 6NR as well.
