This is the V10 version of the Audi R8 V10, almost essentially a Lamborghini LP560-4

It sounds like he lost the first race due to the DSC cutting of the power, my M5 sounds the same when I shift from 1st to 2nd (and sometimes 3rd) when I have the DSC on.
With DSC off I have a bit of wheelspin but it's certainly faster.
I expected the R8 V10 to be a lot faster.

Why find excuses , there is no hp difference whatsoever, so the two things that made the M6 lost were the : Weight difference , and the fact that R-tronic is faster than SMG.

It's not about trying to find excuses, I'm just saying that the M6 could be a bit faster, it still would have lost the race but it would be even closer than you can see in the vid.
If I had to choose another car next to my M5 it would be a R8 V10 instead of a M6 no doubt, but I expected more of it.

If the M6 had DMS Remap, RPI Scoops, RPI Pulley and BMC Filters with Block off plates, like Stormster's car, I wonder if the outcome would've been different?

Hi Gentlemen of engineering good taste, as the saying goes "SPEED IS NOTHING WITHOUT CONTROL". The //m6 is a true GT as opposed to the r8 which is a mini-supercar. The other thing is nowaday speed is no longer a big deal as even a well sorted turbo charged Skoda will keep that R8 honest indeed to put in perspective. I like this races for FUN, but never will they matter to me when i have to choose my next cars anyday. BMW for life. Enjoy

The R8 V10 is very fast, liek a somewhat heavier Lamborghini LP560-4. So this Audi is faster, plain and simple
