Charcoal Filter removal question

Hi All,

This weekend I removed my charcoal filters and also put in BMC filters while I was at it. My car is an 09 vert and I followed the instructions posted on the board. Everything went well except I had to disconnect and reconnect one hose that was not in the instructions (see pictures below). The hoses were held via clamps along the side of the air box and one of the hoses did not have enough play to get the airbox out without removing the hose. I'm pretty sure it was a coolant hose.

Excuse my ignorance, but I just want to make sure it was no big deal disconnecting and reconnecting this hose (air bubbles, pressurization issue, etc). When I disconnected it, it made a sucking sound like it was pressurized and a bit of coolant leaked out (just a spoonful). I don't think this is any different than opening up the coolant resevoir to check coolant levels, but wanted to make sure (I'm paranoid because the car is new

The car is driving great and no warnings so hopefully not a big deal - can anyone confirm this is ok?

TIA!

It should have been possible to pop them out of the "channel" that they sit in and move them over so you didn't have to disconnect them to remove the covers.

That aside, there should be no issues that result from the minor loss of coolant and the sucking was just a bit of pressure or vacuum in the system that was released so also nothing to worry about.
