I'm not sure if it's really true, but years ago I was told that about 30% of the drivers in Hawaii did not have insurance. And of course the rest of us who do have it are paying for the low lifes who are breaking the law by driving without it. And the uninsured claim they don't have it because it's too expensive. Well, duh, if only one person paid for insurance and everyone else had none, the second person to get insurance would find it outrageous as well. You can't debate economics with the "poor"...

Driving without insurance is a serious offence in NJ or anywhere else, i doubt that they will change to a lower offence. GET AN ATTORNEY!!
