I bought the WeissLichts for my Car and one was DOA out of the box, bought the AiB's instead of waiting and they went in perfectly... (for 6 months now), have sent my WeissLichts back three times now because each time another was DOA out of the box, the last time they were different colors...

No issues with AiB's...

After the fact, replacing the high beams was kind of a waste.

I apologize in advance, but exactly what are you saying here? My high beams were upgraded and they work as normal?
