from personal experience...
After seeing the videos of the new LP560-4, especially the ones where it runs neck and neck with the 599, I was completely amazed at how fast the car was...but, i can tell you that i recently (about a month ago) went to an event with a group of friends, one of which owns an lp560-4...now, im sure that the previous video started from a bit lower speed, and obviously the LP would have a major advantage there, but there were two occasions during that event where the LP560-4 was about a car length in front of me in the other lane, and we both nailed it WOT pretty much at the same time from about 65 the first time and about 75 the 2nd time...i gotta be honest, he really didnt get any separation on me at all from the start of the pull until the end(about 8-10 seconds later probably, so u do the math)...Obviously, i was INCREDIBLY surprised about this, and later on when we stopped at a gas station, i asked the owner of the LP if he was as surprised as me...he said that he wasnt, based on the both the gearing and the amount of power that my car makes...I'd love to try it again and get it on video if i have the chance, and im sure ill get the usual "I call bs" statements from some people, but i can only tell u based on my experience. I mean, my car is not even close to being stock...i have the ASR CAI, rogue pulley, AA Stg 2 ECU, SS headers and resonator, Meisterschaft GT exhaust, Dinan 3.91, brakes, and stg 2 Suspension(i dont think im forgetting anything but i might be)...but i dont think that based on my experience, it would take a stroker motor to keep up with one...our cars really are top end monsters.
