Which rims are best for M6?

I just wanted some advice on which HRE wheels are the best for the M6? Or which other brand do you guys think I should get?

If performance is a priority, you'd want the lightest(yet strong) wheels you can get.

Check out this useful thread which shows the weights of various popular wheels:

HRE, DPE, Vorsteiner, Alloy Technic are all solid choices.

If you want light weight check out the Competition series from HRE - I got a set of C20 HRE's 19" all around and theyre just about a pound or two lighter then the stock wheels which are pretty darn light. I was surprised at how light the stockers are when I picked them up after the swap.

There's a best wheel for performance and a best wheel for looks - which one do you want?

Go with the P40's. Monobloks are the in thing. I have DPE S-10 (typical lip wwheel) and getting bored with them. If I ever get another set, it would definitely be monobloks.

HRE P40s

They are beautiful, and well made. I have a set in stock 19inch but .5inch wider in front, 1.0inch wider in rear. Would have stayed 0.5inch wider in front and rear for better tire fitment. Otherwise, the two color finish (black power coat, with machined face, extra $560), otherwise perfect. I have a post somewhere with the pixs. Otherwise message me and I will send you some.

Pic of HRE P40 2tone finish

Here is an earlier pic of my car with the HRE P40s in the 2 tone finish. I kept them 19 inch for weight, and only slightly wider than stock (same size as M6 competition wheels).

Peace,
Noushy
