Been there, done that(happened to me multiple times but at least in my trucks).

Its annoying. I have to take my V1 down any time I park anywhere, even if I park in my driveway for a few minutes.

I feel for you man, that's the worst picture I've seen in a while; fix that bad boy up and give him a day at the detailer to make everything better... BTW it would seem by the open ash tray and the missing lighter you had it wired there and probably set mid-windshield or was it hard wired?

BMW stands for "Break My Window"
You have the right attitude, it is just a "headache"
I've had many broken car windows over the years, at least a half dozen, but not the M6
Do your best to vacuum all the bits of glass, it sometimes requires pulling the seats

The apartment complex is pretty nice i would say, albeit the m6 does stick out in terms of the other cars there. There were no cameras and nobody noticed anything unusual. And the more i talk to neighbors that actually saw my car that morning before it was broken in to makes me think it was done around late morning when everyone is off to work, didnt take much to plan this...

Car will be good as new im sure, and yes you are all right my radar dector was not hard wired which made it easy pickings. At least if it was hardwired it would be up and out of the way and less likely to catch attention. My laziness went disciplined haha. That pesky glass dust makes me think the seats will have to come out like someone mentioned, for a proper cleaning. Great to have the forum to whale and whine to, makes it easier to deal with, have a good rest of the weekend and ill keep you all posted about the "restoration" process. I have a feeling this one broken window will cause me a months worth of headache, from parts to repair to dealing with insurance(although they have been great so far)...doh!
