First Snow of the Year for the Beast.

We usually don't get snow this early in the mountains here in North Carolina, but it came as a nice surprise. Thanksgiving is usually the first snowfall and it isn't very much. Anyway, here are some very bad pictures since I am far from a professional lol. The third one isn't from today, but thought I would include it.

This was on the Blue Ridge Parkway Northeast of Asheville by about 20 miles. Higher elevation than the city of Asheville, but only about 1 mile from my house. I live at 3800 ft and Asheville is at 2500 ft. Elevation really makes a difference. It was 7 degrees warmer in the city!

WOW, does that road look familiar. Brings back some incredible memories. I went to camp in Brevard a number of years ago and very often went on the Blue Ridge parkway to get to Black Balsam and other areas where we always hiked. Awesome to see a beautiful ///M up in that area. What an amazing place, and I can't believe you are getting snow there already! I'm in Tallahassee right now and it's 40 degrees.

Wow!! This brings back huge memories for me too. Mike, I went to school at Brevard College back in 91 & 92. I love that whole area, I spent many days and nights in the Pisgah forest camping, mountain biking, and sledding on cafeteria tray tables on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I can't wait to drive my beast on those roads one day.

Ditto on the snow, it's really early. M6 Cabrio - thanks for sharing those pics.

I feel the same way, can't wait to drive the ///M on those roads some day. I definitely want it to be sooner than later.

I would love to get a meet up here again and everyone go to the Dragon, and up around the Parkway. The Biltmore Estate and Grove Park Inn are great places to stay and visit as well. A national meet would be awesome...and I am close by haha
