Any experience of replacing brake pads?

Hi, Car is over 3 years old now so I thought I might replace the rear brake pads myself (not had dirty hands for a while!) I can get the spare parts no problem but I don't know if I need any special tools? Anyone on the board who can point at instructions? Normally there is some people on here who are very well connected! Thanks in advance, Peter

The special tools needed are: Brake pad spreader, Caliper (to measure disc thickness), Hex bit (7mm??)

Hi Clyde, excellent information - one of the things I was concerned about was the brake wear indicator and this is referenced in the instructions. Thanks very much indeed! Peter
