Yeah, that's the bi-color cabrio video I mentioned in a post at the beginning of the thread. Those are the leather colors I have also chosen. I decided on this combination when I was at BMW-M before the video came out, but BMW Individual did send me photos of the M6 cabrio before I went to the M Studio last year so it only confirmed my choice.
Her car has the leather in "reverse" of mine in that my seat centers will be GoldBrown and the outer portions of the seats will be champagne. There are a number of leather color details differences between the cars. I'm getting the standard M steering wheel (not the bi-color one she has) and so on.
But yes, that's the sort of video I expect them to make (in English) of my delivery.
The video used to be posted on the old BMW TV website, but I could not find it on their new site (BMW TV - BMW Ring-Taxi. The "Green Hell".) I of course saved a copy of the video last year

Talk about special and I beleive it must be experienced in real life to be able to appreciate it. This tyoe if interiour might be very very nice in a Gran Turismo such as the M6.
Mayne the next generation of M5 and M6 will have Koala wood as an interiour option

BMW Individual can always haev a look at Porsche. But this time BMW Individual really have gone very far towards the customer and superseded the customer expectation with being able to have you own type of wood. GREAT JOB BMW M!

wow I especially can't wait to see how the wood looks installed. How AWESOME that it was SUPPLIED by you and now it's going to be in a factory built car. Unreal
Wo-ho, I thought this was your 2nd M6 as much as you know about the M6. Your experience will be so lovely as a new to V10 M6 owner.
Just one week left!

Wow, the details on that Porsche Exclusive are over the top! The finance manger at my dealership used to work at the Porsche shop, so he knows about this sort of thing. But the Individual program is all new to my dealer. I know they will be eager to see the car too but I think they are secretly glad I did most of the work to make this happen.
I agree with Gustav, that this will be a fine GT. Personally, I think of an M3 or a Z4 as a "Sports Car" but to my mind the M6 is a Gran Turismo. Which I think is usually defined as a car that transports 2 (and their luggage) in speed, luxury and style.
I know the exterior paint color and the focus on the (non-functional) interior may not do it for some hard core performance board members. And I'm very happy to see the uber-performance upgrades and looks other M6 owners have posted to the board. Making it your own, in whatever way, is part of what this experience is all about. This is what works where I live since the fastest the car will ever be driven will be under break-in the first week on the autobahn.

Wow, my German is pretty rusty but I got most of that. Very cool to see the process and to hear about that particular Individual M6. Thanks for the link.
