Did not sell out?

They could not even sell 31 cars! Wow, just shows either how bad the economy was last year (for luxury cars anyway) or that the NM 750 was not what people were looking for or was not priced right.

When I was at the M Studio in Sep 2008, they asked me if I was interested in one of the NM 750s when I mentioned that I used to have a 2002 750i. I said, no, I was just interested in an M6 at the moment. They must have thought I actually had money instead of just dreams!

Maybe NM and BMW can offer an Individual X-1 for the 2010 Christmas catalog. Includes a trip to where???

Mock-ups look promising Mark.

Can't wait to see the real thing.

Enjoy every minute of it and let them treat you like a King

Cheers,

The mock-ups look great! As to my earlier post regarding which island you lived on, I think Oahu is amazing! I've told my wife we should move to the islands but she's too attached to family here. I went to Oahu several times when I was in the USN and I've been to Maui once as well. One of my very good friends is an art director for a gallery on Maui.
Could you explain the benefits of leasing VS buying out right in regards to saving money & taxes? I've never leased a car and I'm really curious as to how this works... not the exact figures but can you save money leasing the car and then buying it out right? Mahalo!

I am having a problem, get a hold of someone who has any info on the "individual" I called the three dealers by me, I also asked for the regional sales manager, and i even called the 800 on the BMW website. After seeing that mock interior I want to do something in my own colors. How did you actually contact?

Any help would be appreciated.

Gustavo - where do you live, what do you do for a living? is this sight all you do? Sorry just curious!

I think you should check out this link from BMW TV (BMW Individual program). I think the mock-ups here are the same with the ones in the video. Too bad it's in German and doesn't feature more details.

This and that

The video of the Colored Gold (orange) cabrio has the same colors of leather as mine but in reversed order. So, no, the video is not the same as the mockups I posted.

Leasing has tax advantages if you are self employed or a business is paying for the car. If not it still may still be attractive as your monthly payments will be less. Works if you dont plan to keep the car longer than 3 years or so.

I like living on Oahu, but living in Hawaii is not like being a tourist here.

BTW - I'm posting this from my hotel in Munich. Just checked in. Going to the M Studio tomorrow morning. I will get the car on Tuesday at 1020. Horrible trip start. Flight from HNL was 4.5 hours delayed so routing changed. Had to connect at SLC, ATL, CDG (God I hate connecting at Paris) before getting to MUC. And one of my credit cards was compromised the day I left so American Express cancelled my card. If I'm lucky I will get a replacement in Heidelburg on Thursday. What a pain. Actual flights were OK, so I should not complain too much.

Boy that shower felt good!

@ibmw m6

I will ask my contact at BMW-M how she thinks US customers should proceed (pressure) their dealers or who they should contact at BMWNA if that will help. I'll let you know...

It just looked similar, that's why I've posted it. I didn't actually paid that much attention to the details, but anyway, it's a very unique combination, one I get much more excited about that the usual Blue or Black Individual colors. Not that they're bad, but just that everyone usually gets those when going Individual.
By the way, I think your car might stand out more than any Ferrari or Lamborghini, so you'll have to be careful if you want to go stealth anytime soon with your M6 .

I hate when that happens
It happens more and more often

Off topic: My credit card company called to verify charges, which were valid charges from a local gas station and grocery store. While checking my statement, I noticed 2 charges for 20 million Turkish lira
These fraudulent international charges where not the reason the credit card company called
Those millions of Turkish lira were only worth about $20

My credit company wanted to verify a $1.00 USD charge which I did not make to Apple (online). I think the crooks were testing the card.

BTW - ustav (and his lovely fiancee) and my daughter and I just returned from dinner here in Munich. Gustav will be going with us to the M Studio 11 hours from now.

It was great finally meeting him in person.
