I have over 1700 miles on my new engine and have not had one problem. It is still great to drive daily, but when you jump on it, she becomes another kind of monster. I love the fact that Dinan is reliable and close for me. The ASR TT is a great option also, but I live North of the Mason Dixon line. As was stated before, there is always some else that has more mods and is faster. It is the arms race for cars.

I would get DINAN 5.7L stroker + ASR Nitrous kit. Should be a good combo.

I spoke with Dinan today, they have only ever done 2 M6 cabrios and 1 is in Canada. I am going to do the whole s3 upgrade with brakes, and differ. I am still not sure of lowering springs.

I am also still thinking about a 150 shot of NOS.

We shall see!

We currently do not have any of our Twin Turbo Packages on the street, since the two we are currently building in house are both Stage III's with built engine and take a bit longer than Stages I and II. As of right now, we have already completed about 95% of the hard parts needed for Stages I & II. That being said, it wouldn't take us very long to complete a Stage I or II at this point. Stage I will produce a minimum of 40% more hp over stock putting you @ 700flywheel hp. There would be no need to do both the Stroker and our TT since we have the capability to produce up to 1300whp with the Stage III, of course in my opinion the SMG will not be able to support that kind of power. Keep in mind that a stroker S85 is a completely different type of power than a TT S85, and at the end of the day it's all a matter of preference. Hopefully, this helps answer some of your questions!

I have the dinan S2 package....perhaps not the ultimate, but I do find the suspension to be wonderful. Not too low in terms of driveways etc, but definitely more sporting in feel.

I think if you look carefully at Dinan's website there is no full Signature package of any kind for the convertible. While the coupe has S, S1, S2, & S3 Signature pacakages, there are several things in the suspension kits just not available for the convertible. You can get close, but not official.

Yes this is what was explained to me, however they do have some suspension options we are going to try, and they also talked about more power to be had in the near future.

I am also in the process of getting my wife an x6m, she can not decided on color or interior.

So, you would have to build your own transmission to withstand the (holy crap) 1300 bhp of the Stage III?

SMG is not strong enough, thats for sure... It cant handle the torque and thats why alot of high tq/hp SMG builds have RCOG's
