I wouldn't except that answer, its not 'normal' wear and tear its a design fault!! Escolate this and get the BMW area manager involved!

Heres a sugestion that might help, if we all post our worn bolster photos on here and so him this thread

Here you are. I have been feeding the leather and trimmed the fluf from the stitching so it doesn't look to bad but what is hard to see in the photo is the black laquered surface has rubbed through. This shouldn't happen on a car thats done 50,000 let alone less than 10,000 miles!!!
