As you all know, BMW speakers have always been decent but not great.
On my E39 M5, I replaced all of my stock speakers with Polk Audio and MB Quart speakers and the difference was night and day.
On my M6, same situation with stock speakers - decent but not great.
FYI, I have replaced my front tweeters with Polk Audio DB1000 tweets and huge difference in sound quality. Stock tweets are harsh sounding. Polk DB1000 tweets produces silky smooth highs.
I am now in the process of replacing the center speaker with Focal.
This is already in work. I have ordered the speaker and will replace it when I get home from vacation.
Once I am done, I will create a new post with step by step DIY procedures on how to replace the door speakers, door tweeters and center speaker.
