No, I didn't know that! That's nice to know informtion. I am seriously thinking of moving to Switzerland after retirement and recinding my US citizenship for tax purposes. This is just another reason to do so...

If you rescind your citizenship, do you lose your DOD pension and insurance?

Post experience and prices paid for Maintenance post Warranty.

I'd bet that we have more M6's that are out of the 4 year 50K now that this post has aged a bit... anyone care to post their experience and prices they are paying for maintenance.

Brake Pad's + Rotor's - Is there an average amount of miles you can expect (I understand it varies with how you drive...) - but looking for an estimate for the 1.2 to 1.3K service cost folks are quoting.

Has anyone done the math to determine if the extended maintenance is worth it for say 3K for 3 more years up to 100k?

I'm in the market for an ///M6 myself but is seems this will be a crap shoot unless you get a good extended warranty.

Anyone here have their own car lift? Because the best car lift out there for a really good price is $2,500. A REALLY good one is $5,000... And why not just do your own maintenance instead of relying on a warranty? Anyone here do their own maintenance, if so how much does it cost you and how long per self-service?
