CSL wheels and track tires on my M6 (Lots of pics)
Hi everyone! I just got my track wheel and tire setup. I will be mounting them this weekend and taking some pics of them on my car to make sure I dont have any rubbing. The car is lowered on eibach springs (1" drop front .8" drop back from my measurements). The wheels are CSL replicas made by Miro. The finish is excellent and the packaging was awesome too. The sizes are 19 x 8.5 for the fronts with a 15mm offset, and the rears are 19 x 9.5 with a 20mm offset. The front wheel weight is 24.75lbs and the rear wheel weight is 26lbs. The tires are Hoosier R6's sizes 265/35-19 (fronts) and 295/30-19. I checked with TireRack to confirm that these would not only fit but that the load on each wheel with the smaller sidewall would be acceptable for track use with how heavy our cars are. They had an engineer look into it and found that it was more than adequate. Total weight with the tires mounted and balanced is 51.75lbs for the fronts and 54lbs for the rears.
Costs:
Wheels: $849 shipped
Tires: $1379.76 shipped
TPMS: $313.00 shipped
Total: $2541.76
