carbon fiber wrapping

just out of curiousity.. has anyone wrapped the wood trim with carbon fiber or anything? really want to get rid of the wood trim but the price for the carbon fiber replacement kit is just out the roof.

I've seen some carbon wrapping before, if done right it will look flawless.

Carbon Fiber "look" vinyl is a low cost solution.
