New Owner from Atl

I have been following the board since before I got my M6 about 6 weeks ago, and I figured it was about time to post. bought a 2007 black/ black M6 coupe with about 15500 miles, and so far I have loved every minute of it As far as I know, it is purely stock, but I am thinking of making some changes in the near future. I was thinking about sticking with all Dinan stuff so the car stays under warranty?? But any suggestions would be appreciated as I am a newbie when it comes to these matters I have (at least I think I did) attached a few pics that I took the other day.... just amateur stuff though.

congrats on your purchase!! im not sure what part of atlanta youre in, but i take my m3 to an indie dinan dealer north of atlanta, just off of 400 and mansell. the owner of the shop has an m6 with all of the dinan goodies, short of the stroker(for which he WILL get). i dont want people to think im advertising, so if you would like the name of the shop just pm me. (assuming with my small number of posts i can receive)
cheers,

Welcome OTDoc. I have gotten all my Dinan stuff at the same shop M Junkie is referring to. The owner Ron has already installed a Stroker motor for another guy with an M6. I don't think there is a better place in metro Atlanta for aftermarket work, and I trust them far more than BMW in touching my car. Dinan considers them probably the best in the Southeast. If interested, PM me and I'd be happy to show you what he's done to my M5.

After all the time (and money) I have spent there, he never once offered to give me a ride in his M6. He'll be hearing from me this week!

Nice choice... I have all of the Dinan mods minus the stroker. I guess my car would be considered an S2+. The intakes and StgIII software were installed last week and I noticed a nice butt dyno improvement. Despite all of the anti-Dinan sentiments on this board, I have had good luck with their mods and all covered via warranty! They put me up on the dyno after a weekend of driving, but were having problems with their dyno. My last pull on the dyno was 455 rwhp on a dyno dynamics and 485 on a dynojet. I will have some comparison numbers this week. I will be pulling on both dynos for comparo. And temps should be comparable. I have also Evosport headers and Evosport/Dinan header-back system. Nice ride and best of luck with the mods. It's addictive for sure.
