        Siruis -> XM

        Can you switch the BMW Sirius to pick up XM? I couldn't find it in a search. I'm going to ask the dealer when I head up there. I've always had XM and according to this board it gets better reception(ESPN always cuts out when I drive straight west). I don't listen to Howard Stern and I prefer the music stations on XM.

        No. You can buy the XM equipment and add it like a car with out it, but you can not use BMW's Sirius to piggy back XM.

        Yeah I don't want to mess with it, if I have to buy a bunch of stuff then take it in to get installed. I'd rather spend it on some bmc filters and activate the sirius. Im just kinda mad that I paid for a year of xm and then sold my truck and now I can't use the spare subscription.
